Public Relations & Outreach Coordinator

About the role

Kingman Regional Medical Center seeks a Public Relations & Outreach Coordinator to create engaging communications for employees and the community, support media relations, host video content, and coordinate health outreach programs.

Key responsibilities

• Create and edit content across articles, web, email, social media, news releases, patient education, video scripts, and advertisements.
• Develop internal communications for the intranet and employee email, using analytics to improve engagement.
• Plan and coordinate health fairs, open houses, educational programs, speaking engagements, and other outreach initiatives.
• Support media relations, maintain local media contacts, and respond to media requests.
• Serve as on‑camera host or moderator for video and online events.
• Facilitate the Speakers Bureau, coordinate the Employee Resource Committee, and assist with special projects and emergency communications.
• Measure communication effectiveness using platform analytics and audience feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English or related field.
• 2‑3 years of professional writing and communications experience.
• Valid driver’s license (21+ years).
• Ability to sit 6‑8 hours daily, lift up to 40 lb, and occasional exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Office 365 suite.
• Experience using a variety of social media platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication, proofreading, and editing.
• Content management and analytics skills.
