About the role

The Child and Family Guidance Center is seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse to provide medication training and rehabilitative services across North Texas clinics. This full‑time position involves travel to multiple locations and direct work with mental health consumers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver medication training and education on medical issues to clients.
• Administer medication injections in clinic and community settings.
• Coordinate with insurance companies, pharmacies, and patient assistance programs to ensure timely medication access.
• Maintain medication inventory, track client labs, and record physical health indicators such as weight and blood pressure.
• Document all nursing activities promptly in the medical record and maintain client confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with active RN licensure.
• Minimum two years of experience in a community mental‑health setting focusing on medication management.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and travel for home visits.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules and maintain up‑to‑date professional certification.
