About the role
Join Bosch's Research and Technology Center in Sunnyvale as a Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) Water Electrolysis Engineering Intern. You will support the water electrolysis research team by testing and characterising electrolysis cells, gaining hands‑on experience in hydrogen‑energy technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble, operate, and monitor electrolysis test rigs and benches.
- Process and interpret test data, performing physical analysis of results.
- Develop and refine testing methodologies and lab‑scale capabilities.
- Collaborate with researchers to improve experimental setups.
Required profile
- Currently pursuing an MS or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or a related technical field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong foundation in electrochemistry.
- Experience with electrochemical testing equipment and data processing.
- Enthusiastic, collaborative, and eager to learn.
