Proposal Manager – Defense & Aerospace

About the role

Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is looking for a strategic, detail‑oriented Proposal Manager to lead the end‑to‑end development of winning bids for defense and commercial aerospace programs. Based in Mineral Wells, TX, you will act as the central hub for the Business Development team, coordinating internal and external stakeholders to deliver high‑quality, compliant proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full proposal lifecycle from RFI/RFP receipt through fact‑finding, drafting, and final negotiations.
• Plan and direct cross‑functional team activities, ensuring alignment with business unit and divisional strategies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for technical and administrative inquiries throughout each pursuit.
• Analyze complex solicitations, develop compliance matrices, and produce technical narratives, data sheets, and presentations.
• Facilitate collaboration between Engineering, Business Development, and Program Management to create a unified “one‑voice” proposal.
• Establish and manage rigorous proposal schedules, coordinating internal and external meetings to meet all submission deadlines.
