About the role
Paragon Technologies, a SunSource company, provides service, repair and re-manufacturing of electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos and mechanical components. It is looking for a technician who can troubleshoot and repair proportional valves and servo valves from all major brands.
Key responsibilities
- Repair all major brands of proportional valves and servo valves.
- Set up tests to calibrate and test hydraulic valves.
- Size and select seals for valves.
- Use basic hand tools and work overtime more than 40 hours per week when business needs dictate.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience repairing hydraulic equipment.
- 5+ years of supervision experience.
- Able to read and understand hydraulic schematics.
- Effective communication, organization and physical stamina: standing and walking regularly, lifting up to 45 pounds, and repetitive manual tasks.
Required skills
- Basic understanding of electronic principles.
- Use of DDM, oscilloscope, function generator, variable power supplies and other lab test equipment.
- Seal sizing and selection.
