Project Superintendent – Palm Beach Gardens

About the role

The Project Superintendent leads all field construction activities for Buch Construction projects in Palm Beach Gardens, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and enforce the Buch Safety Program, ensuring a safe site for all personnel.
• Provide operational support throughout pre‑construction, construction, and close‑out phases.
• Coordinate and review field installations for compliance with contract documents, codes, and quality standards.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and document revisions to keep work aligned with the latest directives.
• Schedule and coordinate all trades, including owner‑provided trades, to maintain project timelines.
• Prepare weekly look‑ahead schedules for the Project Manager.
• Verify that all permits and licenses are obtained, posted, and inspected as required.
• Maintain daily reports on safety, quality, and progress, and collect equivalent documentation from subcontractors.
• Keep as‑built record drawings for final project close‑out.
• Lead the site team, fostering positive morale and effective collaboration.
• Support environmentally responsible and sustainable construction practices.

Required profile

• High school diploma plus an Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent field experience.
• Proven experience supervising field construction activities.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and risk management.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, addenda, and other contract documents.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and managing project schedules.
• Leadership skills to maintain a harmonious and productive work environment.
