Project Superintendent

About the role

DACON Corporation is looking for an experienced Project Superintendent who will lead the field construction team, manage projects from inception to completion, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the field construction team and all on‑site operations, delegating tasks, enforcing SOPs, resolving conflicts, and maintaining safety and OSHA compliance.
• Create and manage documentation including the project schedule, Procore records, subcontractor scheduling, and daily activity logs.
• Perform quality‑control supervision, coordinate inspections, and communicate about ASIs, RFIs, and material submittals.
• Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate work, report progress, identify punch‑list items and ensure their completion.

Required profile

• Current Massachusetts Contractors Supervisor License.
• Ground‑up and tenant‑improvement experience on $10M‑$20M projects.
• 10+ years of on‑site construction experience.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting project drawings.
• OSHA 30‑hour certification.

Preferred profile

• 15+ years of construction management experience, including $20M+ projects.
• Experience with warehouses, cold storage, manufacturing, distribution, or life‑science construction.
• Knowledge of project‑management principles for building, engineering and architecture.
• Proficiency with Excel, MS Project and Procore.
• First Aid/AED/CPR certification.
• NFPA Hot Work Safety certification.
