Project Manager, Research Support (Hybrid)

About the role

The Clinical & Translational Science Institute at the University of Miami is seeking a full‑time Project Manager to lead research support initiatives. This hybrid position coordinates education, training, and career‑development programs that strengthen the research workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and support workforce‑development educational activities such as seminars, training sessions, and trainee programs.
• Use project‑management tools to track milestones, task completion, and overall program status.
• Collect, organize, and analyze data sets using standard software packages.
• Develop and deliver presentations, reports, surveys, and manuscript drafts for peer‑reviewed journals.
• Connect junior research faculty with career‑development resources and assist with internal funding applications.
• Ensure program objectives are communicated, met, and documented while adhering to university policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate workflow, organization, and planning challenges.
• Sound judgment for making critical decisions.
