Project Manager - Multifamily Construction

About the role

The company is a fast‑growing real‑estate development firm focused on multifamily and mixed‑use projects across Florida. As a Project Manager you will act as the owner’s advocate, overseeing ground‑up multifamily developments of 160‑200 units and ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre‑construction activities, including budgeting, cost estimating, and scheduling.
• Coordinate daily communication between ownership, third‑party general contractors, and consultants.
• Monitor construction progress on‑site, report status, and address issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with design specifications, finish levels, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage change orders, cost control, and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience.
• Proven experience with ground‑up multifamily residential projects (3–5 stories, 160–200 units).
• Experience collaborating with developers and general contractors.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Local to or within commuting distance of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
