Project Manager – Manufacturing Engineering

About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Project Manager to join the Fibrebond engineering team at our manufacturing campus in Minden, LA. You will serve as the single in‑house point of contact for customers, overseeing projects from sale through delivery and ensuring successful execution.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate project updates to customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate production activities to meet schedule and customer expectations.
• Track project scope, document changes, and process change orders.
• Collaborate with Engineering to align designs with customer requirements.
• Enter and maintain sales orders, engineering jobs, and project data in the ERP system.
• Prepare and distribute status reports to stakeholders.
• Develop long‑lead BOMs and work with purchasing for timely material ordering.
• Coordinate with production, installation, transportation, and field service to meet delivery timelines.
• Liaise with Quality Control to schedule inspections and address minor quality issues.
• Verify project data before billing and log post‑shipment service calls.
• Assemble submittal documentation and track drawing requirements.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑facing communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail‑oriented with experience documenting scope changes.
• Comfortable working with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Production, QC, Purchasing).
• Willingness to work on‑site at the Minden campus.
