Project Manager – K-12 Education Construction

About the role

Our client, a well‑established general contractor in South Carolina, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead K‑12 education construction projects in Myrtle Beach. You will manage projects up to $30 million, delivering high‑quality school facilities for public and private clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full project lifecycle from budgeting and scheduling to close‑out.
• Manage subcontractors, contracts, and change orders.
• Coordinate with school districts, design teams, architects, and internal field leadership.
• Control costs, monitor schedules, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager on commercial construction projects.
• Prior experience managing K‑12 or education construction projects.
• Experience handling projects valued up to $30 million.
• Proven ability to collaborate with superintendents, owners, architects, and subcontractors.

Required skills

• Procore or similar construction management software.
