Project Manager

About the role

Howden, a global insurance group, is launching its US retail platform and is looking for an experienced, results-oriented Project Manager. The role leads complex, cross-functional business initiatives from planning through execution and benefit realization, including formal change management activities, and works closely with business leaders, process owners and technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and oversee end-to-end delivery of projects, defining scope, objectives, timelines and success criteria
• Lead cross-functional teams on process, technology and organizational change initiatives
• Monitor project health, manage risks and issues, and ensure projects follow PMO standards, tools and reporting requirements
• Execute formal change management activities such as impact assessment, readiness planning, dependency management and adoption tracking
• Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, report to senior leadership and governance forums, and prepare project plans, critical path analyses and resource forecasts
• Track financials, resourcing, risks and benefits realization, and document lessons learned

Required profile

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in insurance brokerage
• Demonstrated experience leading business transformation, process improvement or systems implementation projects
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations or a related field preferred

Required skills

• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMI, Agile or hybrid approaches
• Proficiency with project portfolio management tools such as Monday.com and reporting platforms
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus

What we offer

• Expected base salary of $125,000 - $175,000, depending on experience and location; discretionary bonus available
