Project Manager

About the role

MP Systems, a USA Today Top Workplace and a division of the Morris Group, is an OEM manufacturer of CNC accessories such as high-pressure coolant systems, chillers, coolant filtration and mist collection. It is looking for a Project Manager in Enfield, CT to oversee engineering projects including new product development, product improvement and product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Outline project goals and deliverables, create realistic timelines, set milestones and monitor daily tasks
• Recognize roadblocks and help facilitate solutions
• Create timelines and milestones for projects and monitor progress
• Talk daily with team members and management about roadblocks
• Facilitate meetings and brainstorm solutions as needed
• Create standard procedures for project completion and implement project tracking standards
• Perform other related duties as required

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED
• Demonstrated success in project management or leadership
• Ability to multitask, solve problems and pay attention to detail
• Strong organization and collaborative communication skills
• Ability to follow company standard operating procedures
• Physical ability to move around the premises, sit for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs with assistance, and work in industrial environments with PPE

Required skills

• Understanding of Microsoft Office
• Project management and leadership experience
