Project Manager - Industrial Construction

About the role

Greystar is building an in‑house construction team to deliver industrial projects across Tennessee and Georgia. As a Project Manager you will lead the end‑to‑end planning and execution of industrial construction and new development initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review project specifications, plans and blueprints; contribute to hard‑cost estimates and budgets.
• Determine staffing needs, assign internal team members and subcontractors, and oversee day‑to‑day execution.
• Lead initial and ongoing planning meetings, define scope, and develop project budgets, timelines and construction schedules.
• Prepare and distribute bid packages, evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate contracts.
• Review and approve change orders and plan revisions, updating documentation accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards, building codes, permits and other regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular status updates to business leaders, identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Recruit, onboard, train and manage project team members in line with company policies.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing industrial construction projects in the United States.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling and cost control.
• Familiarity with safety standards, building codes and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting to senior leadership.
