Project Manager I

About the role

Direct, coordinate, and exercise functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of projects within the assigned area of responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality projects on schedule and within budget, managing financial performance, supplier negotiation, and change orders.
• Assign project personnel to phases such as technical studies, design, specifications, testing, commissioning, and installation.
• Review product designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, contract requirements, and regulations.
• Prepare interim and final project reports and maintain customer and subcontractor relations.
• Assist in bid, proposal, and pricing activities, and ensure contract completeness and accuracy.
• Negotiate with customers, manage certifications, and submit required governmental export forms.
• Monitor labor and material budgets, generate change‑of‑scope notices, and coordinate contract modifications.

Required profile

• Technical degree from a four‑year college or technical school.
• Three or more years of related project management experience; advanced (master’s) degree preferred.
