Project Manager – Field‑Focused Construction Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will lead projects from award through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction. This is a hands‑on, field‑driven position with significant time spent on job sites alongside crews.

Key responsibilities

• Provide oversight and improve efficiency of the project management team in line with senior leadership principles.
• Participate in customer site visits, proposal and contract development, and ensure full understanding of scope and risk.
• Coordinate with Project Sales Representative from sales through execution, documenting changes to scope, schedule, or budget.
• Interact with customers, engineers, vendors, and suppliers during design and planning phases.
• Develop and maintain overall project schedule, identify critical path items, and anticipate schedule‑impacting issues.
• Communicate project status regularly, covering schedule, financials, risk, quality, and safety.
• Coordinate work crews and schedule required equipment, traveling as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience managing construction or heavy‑rigging projects to meet or exceed duties listed.
• Strong planning and leadership abilities with a focus on safety and client satisfaction.

Required skills

• PMP certification (preferred).
• Working knowledge of engineering plans and specifications.
• Understanding of construction contracts and basic mechanical principles.
• Proficiency with Windows‑based software applications.
