Project Manager – Field‑Driven Construction Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will lead projects from award through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction. This is a hands‑on, field‑driven position with significant time spent on job sites alongside crews.

Key responsibilities

• Provide oversight and improve efficiency of the project management team, adhering to senior leadership principles.
• Participate in customer site visits, proposal and contract development, and maintain communication with the Project Sales Representative throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain overall project schedules, identify critical path items, and anticipate issues that could impact cost or timeline.
• Regularly communicate project status, including schedule, financials, risk, quality, and safety.
• Coordinate work crews, schedule equipment, and travel as needed to support field leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience managing construction or heavy‑rigging projects from sales through execution.
• Strong planning, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of engineering plans and specifications.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for heavy construction equipment.
• Proficiency with Windows‑based software applications.
• Understanding of construction contracts and basic math/geometry.
• PMP certification preferred.
