Project Manager – Engineering Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead moderately complex engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to quality standards. The role operates with minimal supervision and collaborates closely with engineering resource leaders and client teams.

Key responsibilities

• Efficiently manage promotional projects, accurately estimate professional services hours and control costs.
• Oversee commercial contracts, ensure timely invoicing, process Project Change Notices, review monthly Office Earnings Reports and keep project plans current in Vision.
• Track performance budget, schedule commitments and quality standards using available project control tools.
• Participate in major technical, cost, scheduling and performance decisions for assigned projects.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables with client stakeholders and align schedule and budget.
• Champion change management by promptly recognizing and communicating scope and design changes.
• Build and lead productive teams, recognizing outstanding contributions.
• Coordinate resource requirements across projects and align expectations of all parties.
• Plan, organize and communicate work to the team, leadership and client; conduct weekly coordination meetings.
• Produce timely weekly and monthly reports with comprehensive action‑item lists.
• Review engineering documents, vendor submittals and fabrication drawings for compliance with specifications and project objectives.
• Ensure standard project processes are followed throughout engineering, procurement and construction phases.
• Interview discipline leads to maintain up‑to‑date project information.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing moderately complex engineering projects.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and make independent decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience handling commercial contracts, invoicing and change‑notice processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate resources.
