Project Manager – Customer Owned Energy Systems

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of Customer Owned Energy Systems (COES) projects. You will guide multidisciplinary teams through planning, design and execution of complex energy infrastructure for campuses, healthcare facilities, industrial sites and municipalities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and resources across the full project lifecycle.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering and design teams to deliver utility master plans, microgrids, electrical substations, thermal energy networks and related systems.
• Develop and implement project delivery strategies, ensuring alignment with client objectives and sustainability goals.
• Serve as the primary client liaison, building trusted relationships with executive‑level stakeholders and communicating project status.
• Oversee financial performance through forecasting, cost control, Estimate‑at‑Completion reporting and Earned Value Management.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex energy or infrastructure projects.
• Strong ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and drive results.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior client representatives.
• Demonstrated competence in risk and resource management.
