Project Manager – Construction

About the role

Balfour Beatty US is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects for public and private sector clients. You will oversee the full lifecycle of assigned projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget while upholding the company’s Zero Harm safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with schedulers, superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers to develop and maintain construction schedules.
• Create an organizational matrix and allocate resources (people, equipment, materials) at project start.
• Review contract documents with all stakeholders to guarantee compliance and timely execution.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier requirements to meet project milestones.
• Administer daily project operations, including schedule updates, milestone tracking, and close‑out checklists.
• Implement safety, risk management, EEO, training, and quality‑control programs on site.
• Utilize SAP for project‑specific financial and reporting functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience directing construction projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, change orders, submittals, and procurement processes.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and communicate effectively with clients, regulators, and internal staff.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful work environment.
