Project Manager – Commercial Construction (Charlotte)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from inception through close‑out for a top‑ranked ENR general contractor in Charlotte.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commercial projects from start to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Review plans, specifications and client requirements.
• Process, review and track submittals, RFIs and procurement logs.
• Prepare subcontractor scope of work letters and manage change orders.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids.
• Coordinate with internal and external project team members to maintain positive client relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of construction project management experience with a general contractor.
• Proven track record managing commercial projects valued at $15 M or more.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, costing and scheduling.
