Project Manager - Civil Construction

About the role

The Civil Construction Project Manager leads the delivery of ground‑up construction projects, ensuring client expectations are met through clear communication, strong leadership, and rigorous project control.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with estimating during pre‑construction to develop accurate project scopes.
• Oversee all phases of construction, from planning through close‑out, including scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor management.
• Prepare monthly financial forecasts, owner billings, and executive project reports.
• Identify, forecast, and mitigate project risks to protect company exposure.
• Negotiate owner contracts, subcontracts, and proposals.
• Develop and maintain critical path method (CPM) schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
• Enforce health, safety, QA/QC standards, and compliance with drawings.
• Lead constructability reviews, permit processes, and documentation.
• Manage procurement, subcontract award, and contract administration.
• Coordinate project close‑out activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in construction science, construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing civil construction, ground‑up projects.
• Proven leadership, time‑management, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
• Deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and management principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with construction scheduling and project management software.
