Project Coordinating Manager

About the role

Vert Environmental is seeking an experienced Project Coordinating Manager to lead its Project Coordinating and Field Technician Departments. This fully remote, full‑time position oversees daily operations, ensures timely project delivery, and acts as the primary liaison among clients, technicians, and laboratories.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Project Coordinating and Field Technician Departments, including staffing, workflow, and project execution.
• Supervise department employees, assign tasks, monitor performance, and conduct training and mentorship.
• Coordinate and prioritize field projects to meet client and operational requirements.
• Serve as liaison between project coordinators, field technicians, clients, laboratories, and internal teams.
• Oversee client communications, report preparation, invoice approval, and delivery of technical results.
• Review laboratory results, interpret findings, and communicate them accurately to stakeholders.
• Identify bottlenecks, conduct department meetings, and implement process improvements.
• Support the Operations Director with planning, resource allocation, and strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the environmental industry or related field.
• Proven experience supervising staff and managing departmental operations.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a client‑service orientation.
• Ability to work under pressure, solve problems quickly, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Remote work experience with a dedicated home office setup.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn and use company databases, project management systems, and related software.
• Working knowledge of environmental testing, laboratory analysis, and technical reporting.
