About the role

Competitive Range Solutions seeks an experienced Project Controller to manage financial tasks for government contracts, including billing, internal audits, and liaison duties between project management and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

Perform project accounting and cost reporting for multiple DoD contracts, creating and maintaining financial spreadsheets and master workbooks.
Analyze and present cost reports, revenue variance, unbilled analysis, and accruals to determine progress.
Track project costs, monitor performance against baseline, and create purchase requisitions for subcontractor labor and direct costs.
Prepare final invoice packages with supporting documentation for senior approval.
Research unbilled issues and pursue opportunities to maximize client billing.

Required profile

Minimum 3 years experience in a government contracting environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with Project Managers regarding contract documents, change orders, and billing.
Bachelor’s degree desired.

Required skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Experience using QuickBooks.
