Project Control Analyst

About the role

The Project Controls Analyst supports client Project Managers by providing high‑confidence cost and schedule analysis using earned value methodology. This remote role requires residence in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, or New Jersey.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules; perform schedule analysis to identify delays and propose corrective actions.
• Conduct cost tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis; calculate and analyze earned value metrics to highlight performance issues.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor scope alignment with objectives.
• Provide process feedback, ensure data integrity, and train new analysts on project controls procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business management, analytics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in project controls, project management, or construction management.
• Residency within Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, or New Jersey.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Primavera P6 / Oracle Primavera Cloud for CPM and Earned Value scheduling.
• Familiarity with SAP or Oracle suite tools.
