Project Architect

About the role

A2H is seeking a Project Architect for its Memphis, TN office to lead a variety of governmental, industrial, and logistics projects from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex architectural projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget compliance.
• Serve as primary client liaison, handling scope, fees, proposals, and contracts.
• Develop work plans, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and oversee construction administration.
• Participate in marketing, procurement of consultants, and collaboration with governmental agencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master of Architecture from an NCARB‑accredited program.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with governmental, industrial, or logistics design projects is a plus.
• Knowledge of building codes, project delivery processes, and sustainable design practices.

Required skills

• Construction documentation and administration.
• LEED accreditation or sustainable design experience.
• Advanced knowledge of building codes.
