About the role

The Program Manager for the PeeDee/Coastal region will support early childhood systems integration through medical homes and community partners. Reporting to a Senior Program Manager, this remote role involves building relationships with clinics, providing professional development, and advancing equity in early literacy.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain regular contact with ROR sites to assess quality, deliver implementation support, and provide professional development.
• Conduct in‑person and virtual site visits, cultivate champions among medical providers, and coach new sites through onboarding.
• Collaborate with early childhood and medical systems, coordinate community resources, and represent ROR at meetings.
• Track quantitative and qualitative program data, prepare summaries for funding and advocacy, and ensure completion of required reporting.
• Support sites in book selection, ordering, and funding allocation, and assist with fund development activities.

Required profile

• Commitment to equity and experience addressing structural inequities affecting children.
• Experience facilitating professional development and quality‑improvement processes.
• Strong relationship‑management skills with medical professionals and ability to work independently in a virtual environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, time‑management, and self‑motivation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Experience using Slack and database systems for electronic communications.
