Program Manager – Environment, Safety & Security

About the role

The Office of Environment, Safety, and Security (ESS) within the Texas A&M University System Offices seeks a Program Manager to lead and coordinate program and project activities. Reporting under general supervision, the role ensures budgets, timelines, and deliverables are effectively managed to support the system’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Define ESS project mission, vision, scope, and delivery objectives.
• Manage a portfolio of projects aligned with organizational strategies and project‑management standards.
• Develop and implement procedures for ESS program administration.
• Research, write white papers, and prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities, tracking resources and timelines.
• Oversee quality control and assurance to ensure deliverables meet defined standards.
• Monitor project goals, applying best practices in vendor and resource management.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and administrative abilities.
• Experience developing strategic plans, procedures, and program materials.
• Proven capability to manage moderate‑complexity projects with defined problems and solutions.
• Effective communication skills for regular engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
