Program Manager – Environment, Safety & Security

About the role

The Texas A&M University System Offices are seeking a Program Manager to lead and support initiatives within the Office of Environment, Safety, and Security (ESS). This role will oversee program and project activities, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery of departmental objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define ESS project mission, vision, scope, and delivery objectives.
• Manage project portfolios aligned with organizational strategies and project management standards.
• Develop and implement procedures for ESS program administration.
• Research, write white papers, and prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities, engaging regularly with stakeholders.
• Coordinate resources with resource holders to support effective execution.
• Oversee quality control and assurance to ensure deliverables meet defined standards.
• Monitor project goals and apply best practices in vendor management.

Required profile

• Under general supervision, provide analytical and advanced administrative support to ESS.
• Experience developing strategic plans, managing budgets, and tracking timelines.
• Strong written communication skills for white papers and presentations.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
