Program Director – Integrated Healthcare Modernization

About the role

Artemis Connection is seeking a Program Director to lead a 12‑month remote engagement for a public‑sector client, with occasional travel to Washington DC. The role focuses on managing the implementation of a Healthcare and Benefits Act through integrated program and portfolio delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Own scope, schedule, dependencies, risk, and delivery outcomes across multiple workstreams and establish integrated delivery systems.
• Engage senior stakeholders including CORs, program executives, contracting officers, and federal leadership, providing executive‑ready reporting and risk mitigation.
• Translate legislation and policy mandates into structured implementation plans, ensuring compliance with federal oversight.
• Use KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics to guide decisions, implement governance structures, and drive adoption.
• Identify cross‑program risks early, coordinate across primes, subcontractors, and internal federal teams, and ensure integration of clinical, operational, and acquisition initiatives.

Required profile

• 6‑10+ years of program, portfolio, or enterprise delivery leadership experience.
• Prior federal healthcare experience and direct work with federal CORs and senior agency leadership.
• Proven ability to own and deliver complex, multi‑workstream initiatives.
• Master’s degree or higher and PMP certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required federal security clearance.
