Tarleton State University seeks a Program Director and Clinical-Track Assistant/Associate Professor to lead its Physician Assistant Medicine program. The role combines academic leadership, curriculum development, and faculty mentorship within a vibrant campus community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide academic and administrative leadership, managing faculty, staff, and student affairs.
• Develop and oversee the program’s strategic plan, budget, and resource allocation.
• Ensure curriculum aligns with accreditation standards and industry expectations.
• Lead accreditation efforts with ARC‑PA and prepare required documentation.
• Mentor faculty, conduct performance evaluations, and support scholarly activities.
• Foster student engagement, retention, and experiential learning opportunities.

Required profile

• Earned doctorate or terminal degree in a related field; master’s in Physician Assistant/Associate Studies required.
• Minimum five years of classroom experience and three years of healthcare experience.
• Current NCCPA certification (or P.A. Emeritus).
• Distinguished record in teaching and research.

Required skills

• Knowledge of graduate‑level PA education and accreditation processes.
• Strong written and oral communication in English.
• Ability to manage budgets, resources, and program administration.
