Program Director – Bilingual EHR Implementation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, bilingual (English/French Canadian) Program Director to lead a multi‑year, province‑wide Enterprise Electronic Health Record (EHR) deployment. This senior leader will provide strategic oversight, coordinate multiple implementation teams and subcontractors, and ensure the program delivers measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for the end‑to‑end EHR deployment program.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for program risks, dependencies, and executive decisions.
• Lead steering committee meetings, governance forums, and operational review sessions.
• Present program status, risks, milestones, financials, and readiness metrics to senior leadership.
• Direct integrated program governance across internal teams, customer organizations, and third‑party partners.
• Oversee enterprise project planning, milestone management, dependency tracking, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure consistent scope, change control, financial oversight, issue escalation, resource planning, and compliance reporting.
• Champion evidence‑based, standardized best‑practice workflows across clinical, financial, and operational domains.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale healthcare IT transformation initiatives.
• Strong leadership, communication, and change‑management abilities.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French Canadian.
• Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands‑on operational execution.
• Experience working in highly matrixed environments with senior healthcare executives.
