Program Development Associate – Georgetown West

About the role

The Program Development Associate will lead the planning, development, and implementation of the Georgetown West initiative, establishing a permanent Georgetown presence in the San Francisco Bay Area. Working within the Office of the Dean at the McDonough School of Business, the associate will support the School’s broader academic growth and innovation agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation of academic programs, co‑curricular activities, and student life experiences linked to the Silicon Valley AI and technology ecosystem.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with Silicon Valley tech firms, alumni, donors, and corporate partners.
• Oversee facilities planning, operational readiness, and resource allocation for the new regional hub.
• Conduct market research and strategic analysis to inform program design and growth.
• Ensure compliance with university, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.
• Support the development of new domestic and international programs across the McDonough School of Business.

Required profile

• Experience working with faculty, university leadership, and external stakeholders in higher‑education or research environments.
• Strong background in program development, strategic planning, and partnership management.
• Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and drive projects to completion.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
