Program Coordinator

About the role

The University of Miami seeks a Program Coordinator to support the LawWithoutWalls (LWOW) program and provide administrative assistance for Professor DeStefano’s courses. This full‑time, on‑site position involves research, planning, and day‑to‑day operations to ensure the program runs smoothly and complies with university policies.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the LWOW Director, Founder, faculty, adjuncts, staff, and students to enhance the learning experience.
• Serve as liaison between LWOW and other university units and external participating schools.
• Arrange calendar appointments, travel, and reservations for leadership and staff.
• Coordinate LWOW meetings, take notes, and distribute summaries.
• Manage supplies, assets, and purchasing for LWOW events, including Sprint.
• Process expense reimbursements and P‑Card transactions for program leaders and student helpers.
• Assist with marketing and social‑media content creation, event branding, and promotional materials.
• Support administrative tasks for LWOW participants and Professor DeStefano’s classes, including Blackboard and Google Classroom updates, database maintenance, enrollment management, and grade entry.
• Help reconcile budgets and prepare monthly budget reports.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; at least one year of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize work under pressure.
• Comfort handling confidential information with discretion.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel internationally as needed.
• Commitment to the university’s core values and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
• Experience using Squarespace, Canva, Feedback Fruits, Blackboard, Microsoft Teams, and Google Classroom.
