Program Assistant Intern (Hybrid)

About the role

Community Wellness Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center, LLC and Community Wellness Outpatient Mental Health Center, LLC are seeking a motivated Program Assistant Intern to support the delivery and coordination of health‑focused programs. This hybrid internship provides hands‑on experience in nonprofit operations, client support, and program coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of wellness programs, workshops, and community events.
• Maintain and update participant records, databases, and program documentation.
• Support communication efforts including participant outreach, email correspondence, and social media.
• Prepare program‑related materials such as presentations, reports, and informational handouts.
• Provide logistical support for internal meetings, scheduling, agenda creation, and note‑taking.
• Offer on‑site support for client interactions, including program intake and case management.
• Track and report program metrics, participation levels, and client satisfaction.
• Assist with filing, record‑keeping, compliance, inventory monitoring, and supply ordering.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Public Health, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Experience using Canva or other design tools.
• Familiarity with social media platforms for outreach.
