Program Assistant – Evening Classroom Support

About the role

Mays Business School at Texas A&M University is looking for a proactive Program Assistant to support evening graduate classes at the CityCentre campus in Houston. The role serves as the primary on‑site contact for classroom operations, AV/IT assistance, and facility management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide AV/IT support and monitor distance‑education equipment during evening sessions.
• Manage classroom setup, catering, and supply logistics.
• Maintain building access control, security systems, and emergency communications.
• Coordinate scheduling of rooms, record class sessions, and distribute video recordings.
• Assist faculty, staff, and students with facility‑related needs and administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable acting as the main point of contact for facility and technology issues.
• Ability to work evenings (Tue‑Fri 1 pm‑10 pm) and Saturdays (9 am‑6 pm).
• Excellent customer‑service orientation for students and faculty.
