About the role
The University of Kansas, Edwards Campus seeks a non‑tenure‑track Professor of the Practice to join its growing Biotechnology program. This twelve‑month faculty position will support undergraduate education across multiple biotechnology specializations.
Key responsibilities
- Teach eight undergraduate courses per academic year, including research methods, quantitative and separation science, and forensic science.
- Develop and deliver course material in in‑person, hybrid, and online formats.
- Maintain professional activity and community engagement to uphold departmental distinction.
- Contribute to curriculum development for the B.S. in Biotechnology and its minors.
Required profile
- Professional record in biochemistry, forensic science, or related fields.
- Demonstrated teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to student development.
- Developed teaching philosophy with a focus on inspiring lifelong learning.
