Professional Engineer – Site Development

About the role

We are looking for a Professional Engineer to lead private and municipal site development projects from due‑diligence through construction support. The role is accountable for scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk management while delivering value to our clients and communities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project execution plans, scopes of work and phase plans, tailoring delivery approaches to each context.
• Establish baselines for scope, schedule and budget; monitor progress and apply change management.
• Identify, analyze and manage risks and opportunities, escalating issues as needed.
• Engage stakeholders, lead meetings and presentations, and manage client expectations.
• Plan and execute QA/QC activities including design, interdisciplinary, model and constructability reviews.
• Forecast and allocate resources, coordinate multi‑office workshare and manage sub‑consultant deliverables.
• Integrate safety‑by‑design and environmental stewardship into project delivery.
• Prepare fee proposals, track budgets, support invoicing and ensure contract compliance.
• Maintain decision logs, archive calculations and conduct project close‑out and lessons‑learned sessions.

Required profile

• Licensed Professional Engineer with experience in site development for private and municipal projects.
• Proven ability to manage full‑life‑cycle projects, including planning, execution and close‑out.
• Strong analytical mindset for risk, cost and schedule analysis.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder and client engagement.
• Commitment to safety, quality and ethical engineering practice.
