Production Team Member

About the role

Concept2, a leader in stationary fitness ergometers and racing oars, is hiring a Production Team Member for its Oar Production team at the Morrisville, VT headquarters. The role is full‑time, on‑site, and offers a competitive salary plus performance bonuses.

Key responsibilities

• Handle carbon‑fiber material and epoxy resins.
• Mold component parts, shafts, and blades.
• Cut, finish, and assemble molded parts into finished oars.
• Test, inspect, and box completed oars.
• Identify and solve production problems collaboratively.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas.
• Repair oars as needed.
• Perform area clean‑up and support other production needs.

Required profile

• At least one year of hands‑on professional experience.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Excellent reasoning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency with a variety of shop tools.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite.
• Willingness to work with carbon‑fiber material, epoxy resins, and dust.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb occasionally.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
