Production Team Member

About the role

The Production Team Member works in a highly sanitized food‑service environment to produce high‑quality dough that meets Papa John’s specifications. You will handle dough trays, maintain equipment, and ensure strict compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Place dough balls into clean trays and manage tray rotation, dating, and cooling temperatures.
• Monitor productivity metrics and suggest improvements.
• Presoak and process dough trays through the tray washer.
• Perform advanced lock‑out/tag‑out procedures on all dough production equipment before cleaning.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dough processing equipment and the production room.
• Document and sign off on sanitation, rejection procedures, dough weight, and other production processes.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and ensure product is free of contamination.
• Operate floor‑maintenance equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely with proper PPE.
• Follow all safety, HACCP, OSHA, FDA, and company policies.

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, sanitary production environment.
• Commitment to following safety and hygiene protocols.
• Attention to detail for documentation and quality control.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks such as lifting trays and operating cleaning equipment.

Required skills

• Lockout/tagout procedures for production equipment.
• Food safety knowledge (GMP, HACCP).
• Operation of dough‑processing and tray‑washing equipment.
• Use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
