Production Supervisor - Weekend Shift

About the role

ABB is hiring a Production Supervisor for its integrated product unit in Senatobia, reporting to the Integrated Product Unit Manager. The position is on-site and covers the weekend shift, with candidates choosing either a day shift (Friday to Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) or a night shift (Friday to Sunday, 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.).

Key responsibilities

• Ensure production scheduling and the production plan meet the volume requirements set in the demand plan and the defined inventory service levels.
• Recommend technical equipment and facility improvements as needed.
• Identify deficiencies in the production area, propose improvement activities and oversee their implementation to raise production performance.
• Manage the resolution of critical product or equipment issues with the relevant internal teams.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED and 5 years of experience supervising teams, managing skill matrices and attendance in a fast-paced manufacturing, production or operations environment.
• Experience with semi-automatic or electrical product production lines is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to guide teams, collaborate across levels and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Lean Six Sigma/DMAIC for scrap reduction, solid troubleshooting of machines and testers, and a basic understanding of manufacturing lines, process optimization and output improvement.
• Work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
