Production Operators and Fabricator Positions – Multiple Shifts

About the role

Clopay is hiring Production Operators and Fabricators for its Mountaintop, PA manufacturing facility. Positions are available on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th (Fri‑Sat‑Sun) and 4M (Sat‑Sun‑Mon) shifts. Candidates will work in a fast‑paced environment producing high‑performance garage door components.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload parts up to 50 lb, operate conveyor systems and tag product accurately.
• Operate overhead crane, RF scan gun, and computer systems to stage material and load trucks.
• Assemble therm‑curtain components using hand and power tools, following SOPs and blueprint specifications.
• Operate folder machines, bend sheet metal, cut, measure, and move finished parts to packing.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 lb and work at a quick pace.
• Prior manufacturing experience and familiarity with blueprints or technical drawings.
• Commitment to safety, production, and quality standards.

Required skills

• Hand‑tool usage and accurate tape‑measure reading.
• Blueprint/technical drawing interpretation.
• Computer operation and basic software knowledge.
• Use of RF scan gun and overhead crane.
• Machine operation for powder‑coat, folder, and assembly stations.
