Production Operator – Night Shift (Louisville, KY)

About the role

We are looking for a Production Operator to join our night‑shift team in Louisville, Kentucky. The role involves 12‑hour shifts (6 pm‑6 am) on a rotating two‑week schedule, with an initial two‑month training period during daytime hours.

Key responsibilities

• Operate mobile equipment and weigh/charge raw materials into tanks following written and computerized work instructions.
• Transfer products between vessels, drums, storage tanks and tote bins; perform drumming, cleaning of tanks and associated piping.
• Conduct routine inspections of pumps, valves, agitators, instrumentation, utilities and safety equipment.
• Prepare equipment for operation, troubleshoot mechanical or process issues, and perform housekeeping tasks.
• Document activities in SAP or other databases and adhere to safety permits (SWP, LOTO, confined‑space entry, hot work).

Required profile

• Available for daytime training (Monday‑Friday 8 am‑4 pm) during the first two months.
• Willing to work night‑shift schedule with rotating weekends.
• Physically able to lift, pull and operate manual process equipment; comfortable working indoors with limited ladder use.
• Experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Required skills

• SAP or similar database usage.
• Operation of pumps, valves, agitators and related process equipment.
• Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Safe Work Permit (SWP) procedures.
• Confined‑space entry and hot‑work safety practices.
• Forklift operation (helpful).
