Program Planner

About the role

Red 6 is seeking a Program Planner to join its Program Management Office. You will support the planning, scheduling, and execution of advanced defense programs, working closely with program managers, engineers, and functional leads.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for engineering development and production.
• Coordinate schedule updates across engineering, systems, software, testing, manufacturing, and program management.
• Support Earned Value Management System (EVMS) processes and maintain related schedule data.
• Assist in creating and maintaining Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) per MIL-STD-881.
• Perform schedule risk assessments, critical path analysis, and "what‑if" planning.
• Prepare schedule metrics and performance reports for leadership and customer reviews.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Finance or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
• 1‑3 years experience in program planning, project controls, scheduling or program management.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling software.
• Understanding of Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS) principles.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles.
• Ability to interpret technical information into executable schedules.

What we offer

• Base salary $60,000‑$85,000 per year.
