Production Operator

About the role

Voyager Technologies is seeking Production Operators for its GOEX black‑powder manufacturing facility in Minden, Louisiana. The role involves manual production work, operating machinery, handling materials, and packaging finished products in a safety‑critical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual production tasks, including tending to and running production machines, weighing, moving, and staging materials, and preparing packaging.
• Package finished product and record production data, batch information, and material usage accurately.
• Operate forklifts safely to transport raw materials, finished goods, and waste within the facility.
• Follow established standard operating procedures and all company safety protocols, including PPE usage, spill response, and chemical handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to support safe and efficient operations.
• Conduct routine inspections of the work area and report maintenance issues on equipment or buildings.
• Collaborate with team members, maintenance technicians, and supervisors to meet production targets and resolve issues.
• Work closely with other production workers, supervisors, and maintenance personnel.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and understand English and perform simple math.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain state and federal explosives licenses.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Pass pre‑employment screening and any required background checks.
