Production Operator

About the role

The Production Operator is responsible for setting up, running, and adjusting manufacturing equipment to produce high‑quality plastic film and bag products. The role works in a safe, GMP‑compliant environment and supports continuous production while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, start, shut down, and change over machines according to standard procedures.
• Adjust heat profiles, length, width, and weight settings for different resin blends.
• Monitor resin flow, blend hoppers, and downstream equipment to ensure optimal yields.
• Perform routine equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and write work requests for complex issues.
• Weigh and record scrap, inspect pallets for weight and stacking accuracy, and manage packaging materials.
• Maintain housekeeping to 6‑S standards and follow all safety, GMP, and ISO policies.
• Assist in training new employees and support multiple production lines as needed.

Required profile

• Must hold valid forklift and electric pallet‑jack certifications.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and safety checklists.
• Strong attention to detail for quality data recording and reporting.
• Willingness to work on all lines within Low Density, High Density, Pack Area, and Agricultural departments.
