Production Operator 2 – D Shift (Manufacturing)

About the role

The Production Operator 2 works on the D shift in our contact lens manufacturing facility. You will operate specialized equipment, follow strict SOPs, and contribute to a high‑quality, high‑volume production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas while applying continuous‑improvement methods.
• Operate automated lathing, injection‑molding, and metrology equipment to meet production targets.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and cGMP regulations rigorously.
• Flexibly support other production areas and assist coordinators or technicians as needed.
• Participate in lean/Six Sigma projects and lead or join team initiatives.
• Work extended hours, including mandatory overtime, to achieve daily goals.

Required profile

• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
• Commitment to safety, attendance, and shift schedule.

Required skills

• Operation of automated manufacturing equipment and basic troubleshooting.
• Basic computer proficiency, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Fundamental mathematical skills.
