Production Manager

About the role

The Production Manager at RWB Thrift is responsible for overseeing all activities in the production room, including the rolling and recycling of merchandise for the sales floor. This role ensures that the store delivers the right items at the right price and time by maintaining accurate pricing, efficient workflow, and high productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and ensure efficient processing of merchandise.
• Implement and monitor procedures to maximize productivity, minimize waste, and maintain consistent workflow.
• Conduct regular quality checks on processed items and address any issues promptly.
• Train, develop, and mentor production supervisors, fostering continuous improvement.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations for the production team.
• Manage staffing levels, adjust workforce to meet production demand, and assist with scheduling and timekeeping.
• Handle recruitment, candidate review, interviewing, and onboarding of new production staff.
• Ensure compliance with E‑Verify employment eligibility verification.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production or operations management, preferably in a retail or thrift‑store environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑development skills, with the ability to train and supervise supervisors.
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage workflow, quality control, and staffing adjustments.
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding, and employee scheduling.
• Eligibility for employment verification through E‑Verify.
