Production Manager - Automotive Seating Plant

About the role

The Production Manager oversees manufacturing operations at the Automotive Seating plant in Warren, Michigan. The role supervises production processes to ensure efficiency, quality and adherence to customer specifications. It leads and supervises salaried personnel and manages manufacturing operations within assigned areas.

Key responsibilities

• Process raw materials through production and assembly operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
• Control material flow, maintain accurate production records and ensure continuous production efficiency.
• Foster a safe and productive work environment by directing employees fairly and consistently, conducting regular area inspections and upholding all safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvements and address production challenges.

Required profile

• 5-10 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred).
• At least 10 years of manufacturing experience, with a solid background in production processes and team leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred).
• Open to B crew Tuesday to Friday, 6 pm to 4:30 am.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of Just-In-Time (JIT) manufacturing principles (required).
