Production Manager – Assembly (Day Shift)

About the role

The Production Manager (Assembly, Day Shift) leads the manufacturing of lithium‑ion batteries on assigned production lines. You will ensure safety, quality, cost and delivery targets are met while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Own the management of assigned production line(s) and meet manufacturing KPI’s.
• Utilize company resources to sustain safe manufacturing and distribution excellence.
• Lead, mentor and develop functional production teams.
• Implement Lean principles and continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal cross‑functional teams to fulfill customer and company goals.
• Participate in management meetings and provide status updates on production goals.
• Ensure compliance with Panasonic’s Seven Core Principles and other corporate standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production or manufacturing management, preferably in battery or electronics assembly.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop staff.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
